After going through our entire day, our final stop was to get a snack at Baked and Wired in Georgetown. In Baked and Wired, we got to taste a wide variety of amazing baked goods, especially the cupcakes, as well as learn what makes Baked and Wired unique. Alan bought the Dirty Chai as well as the Phat Mint Oreo (the Dirty Chai is pictured in the center while the Phat Mint Oreo unfortunately does not get a picture.)
The completion of orders at Baked and Wired was streamlined so that the business could take care of as many customers as possible in the shortest amount of time. Each cupcake was already made so that when customers came to order they could immediately give out the orders and customers could check out almost immediately. Not only was the delivery quick, but the quality of the goods was above par as well. Baked and Wired is a family run business and each cupcake was homemade. Each cupcake is about double or triple the typical size that a person can find in a grocery market in a 24 pack. There is also a large diversity of cupcakes: the amount depicted in the pictures is about half of all the flavors. Baked and Wired provides different options to accommodate diets and allergies as well. I only got to try the Dirty Chai and Phat Mint Oreo, but both of them were definitely levels higher in terms of taste and texture as compared to a typical cupcake.
Baked and Wired's streamlined delivery of the cupcakes as well as the high quality goods has enabled them to become the successful business they are today. People who eat here cannot help but to spread the word that Baked and Wired makes great cupcakes. As such, more people become enticed to have a taste at this amazing food place. This kind of business approach makes them a more authentic and novelty good because they don't try to put themselves out there; they let the product speak for itself. Baked and Wired has a good balance of quality and efficiency to deliver the most optimal goods to the customers.
